Philharmonic Orchestra Dresden
The Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra looks back on 150 years of history as the orchestra of the state capital of Saxony. Since 2017 it has been back in the ultra-modern concert hall of the Kulturpalast in the heart of the Old Town. With its romantic repertoire, the orchestra has been able to retain its uniqueness. In addition, it is characterised by tonal and stylistic flexibility for music from the Viennese Baroque and Classical periods as well as for modern works. Photo © Björn Kadenbach
